Why do I see white dust around the unit?

White residue usually comes from minerals in the water. For cleaner operation, use distilled or purified water. Filtered tap water can also be used, but some mineral residue may still appear over time.

Can I add essential oils to the water tank?

No. This model is designed for water only and does not include an essential-oil tray. Adding oils directly to the tank may damage plastic parts, seals, or internal components.

Why is there no mist right after I turn it on?

During startup, the humidifier may need about 45–55 seconds to pump water before mist begins. If no mist appears after that, check the water level, tank installation, air outlet, and atomizer.

How often should I clean the humidifier?

For best performance, clean the tank, water inlet tank, base chamber, nozzle, and related parts about once a week. Regular cleaning helps reduce mineral buildup and keeps mist output consistent.

Why is there moisture around the humidifier?

If the mist level is too high for the room, excess moisture may settle on nearby surfaces. Lower the mist setting, point the nozzle toward open space, and keep the unit at least 12 in. / 30 cm away from walls and furniture.
