Features, compatibility, and updates (please read before purchase) of A5LG2A7T

1. Phone integration & mirroring — Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto is supported for calls/messages/maps/music. Phone mirroring is for edge-case apps; use only where legal and in safe conditions (passenger or parked). 2. Staying online — During wireless CP/AA, Wi-Fi is busy. To keep Android-side apps connected, use USB tethering (recommended) or Bluetooth tethering. Wi-Fi hotspot also works when CP/AA is not in use.

3. AI assistant & roadmap — DriveChat AI supports BT IoT devices c0ntr0l and offers natural voice interaction. Agentic, context-aware helpers will roll out via updates; available features may vary by release and by the presence of GPS and, when available, Bluetooth OBD data.

4. HDMI Out (video-only) — HDMI Out feeds a visor/headrest/roof display. Audio remains on the head unit for DSP (EQ/time alignment/crossovers). If you need audio off-unit, use the RCA line outputs. (Accessories sold separately where applicable.)

5. CIoTHub & accessories — CIoTHub (BLE) may pair with Bluetooth OBD, ambient lights, a rear-window LED sign, and other add-ons. USB accessories may include TPMS and USB dashcams (on-unit browsing/playback). Accessories are sold separately.

6. Cameras & driving view — Standard rear camera is supported. Live Rear View lets you see the rear feed while moving forward; it is an aid only and does not replace attentive driving.

7. Privacy — Use Screen Lock to protect app logins. Optional Unlock with Bluetooth can auto-unlock when your phone connects and re-lock as you leave.

8. Compatibility & install — Fits universal double-DIN openings; the medium “M” chassis eases space for harnesses/modules. Most vehicles need a dash kit, wiring harness, and possibly a CAN/data interface (sold separately).

9. Updates & support — OTA firmware and frequent app updates (DriveChat, CIoTHub, TrackHU, Cloud Album) help add features and refinements. Self-help is available via the EPC portal, with responsive human support.
