BT-7200CAPP clamp multimeter is an electrical test tool that combines a basic digital multitester with a current clamp, which is an electrical device with 26mm jaws. Therefore, it can be not only used as a normal DMM to test AC DC voltage, current, resistance, capacitance, frequency and continuity with test leads as usual, but also available to clamp around an electric conductor to measure AC DC amp without physical contact.

Correct Measurement

To test current with ANY clamp meter, please separate the hot and neutral conductors firstly or they will cancel each other out and give a zero amp reading.
