Zigbee smart plugs have low standby power, stable mesh connectivity, and are compatible with Home Assistant, SmartThings, Alexa, and Hubitat. They support local control, fast response, and easy automation integration.

Are Zigbee smart plugs compatible with my Wi-Fi network?

Zigbee smart plugs use the Zigbee protocol to connect with a Zigbee gateway, not directly relying on the Wi-Fi network. You’ll need a Zigbee gateway to integrate it into your smart home system.

What platfroms support energy monitoring?

With SmartThings and Home Assistant (Z2M/2HA), you can access the energy monitoring dashboard and set up routines to trigger when energy consumption is too high or too low.

Is this Zigbee smart plug compatible with Hubitat?

It works with Hubitat. To access more features like energy monitoring, LED control, and startup settings, install the “Tuya Zigbee Metering Plug” driver by Krassimir Kossev via the Hubitat Package Manager or from the Hubitat community GitHub page.
