Why can’t the gateway connect to Wi-Fi?
a. Use a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, as 5 GHz is not supported.
b. Make sure the Wi-Fi name and password contain only letters and numbers.
c. Keep the gateway within 10 m / 32.8 ft of the router with minimal obstructions.
Why can’t the sensor pair with the gateway after the gateway has been added?
Make sure the gateway is added to the app and online. During pairing, press and hold the sensor button until the app shows it is added. Keep the sensor close to the gateway. If not detected, restart the app, check the gateway network, and try again.
Why does the device frequently lose connection?
a. Keep the gateway within 10 m / 32.8 ft of the router and the sub-device within 130 m / 426 ft of the gateway.
b. Reduce walls, furniture, metal objects, or other barriers between them.
c. Replace the sub-device batteries if low.
Why do sensors placed side by side show significant differences in temperature and humidity readings?
After unboxing or moving the device, temporary reading differences are normal. Please allow about 1 hour for the device to acclimate to the surrounding environment before comparing the readings.
The values on the display screen are different from the values shown in the app?
The display updates every 10 seconds, while the app updates only when temperature changes by ≥±0.5°C or humidity by ≥±5%, or once per hour. Slight differences are normal.
