Does this sensor require a Zigbee hub?
Yes. This is a Zigbee sensor and requires a compatible Zigbee hub or gateway to work. It uses Zigbee 3.0 protocol and does not connect directly to Wi-Fi.
What does this sensor measure?
This sensor monitors both temperature and humidity, helping you keep track of environmental changes in bedrooms, nurseries, basements, greenhouses, storage rooms, and more.
How often does the sensor update?
This sensor is designed for stable monitoring and long battery life. Please allow about 30 minutes for the readings to stabilize after setup. It reports when temperature changes ≥ ±0.5°C or humidity changes ≥ ±5%. Otherwise, It reports once per hour.
Can I use it for smart home automations?
Yes. When connected to a compatible Zigbee hub and supported platform, the sensor can be used in automations, such as triggering fans, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, or other smart devices based on temperature or humidity changes.
Why do the readings look slightly different from another sensor?
Small differences are normal due to sensor tolerance, placement, airflow, and surrounding conditions. For best results, place the sensor in the target area and allow it time to adjust to the environment before comparing readings.
