How is the Q11 Ultra 8K different from the original Q11?

The Q11 Ultra 8K is a major upgrade from the original Q11, adding dual-chip wireless sync, up to 8K polling rate, 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth 5.3, and ZMK firmware. It delivers a cleaner setup, more flexibility, and a more premium split typing experience.

Can both halves be connected to the computer by cable?

The Q11 Ultra left half connects to your device via USB-C, 2.4GHz or Bluetooth, and the right half syncs wirelessly with the left half for a clean cable-free split setup. The right USB-C port is for charging and firmware updates.

Why does this split keyboard only have one “B” key?

Because it’s a design decision to make the Q11 Ultra can be used as an ordinary 75% layout keyboard and a split keyboard.

Is the Q11 Ultra 8K just ergonomic, or is it also a premium custom keyboard?

It’s both. The Q11 Ultra 8K combines a true split ergonomic design with high-performance wireless technology, full metal body, hot-swappable support, KSA PBT keycaps, and Keychron Launcher for a premium custom experience.

Does Q11 Ultra 8K support mod-tap, layer-tap, or home row mods?

Q11 Ultra 8K supports key remapping, macros, RGB customization, polling-rate settings, and knob customization through Keychron Launcher. Advanced ZMK hold-tap behaviors such as mod-tap, layer-tap, and home row mods are not currently supported.
