Operating principle The real-time surge protector contains a relay that provides both over‑voltage and under‑voltage protection. When a load is connected, the input voltage sags due to the voltage drop across the line impedance. This drop increases with load current and is further influenced by the length and cross‑sectional area of the upstream cable – longer and thinner cables raise, thereby exacerbating the sag.
2. Under‑voltage trip threshold The relay trips and disconnects the output when the voltage falls below 104 V – a protective measure to safeguard your appliances. Do not add any additional load once the voltage has already dropped to 105 V or lower; doing so may push the voltage below the threshold and cause an unintended protective shutdown.
Upgraded 20000J Surge Protection: Kohree 50 Amp RV Surge Protector can absorb high-voltage spikes within 1 nanosecond, effectively protecting your RV or camper’s electrical systems from power surges caused by thunderstorms, grid switching, and other electrical disturbances. It provides comprehensive protection for your onboard electronics, appliances, and wiring.
Circuit Analyzer with Large Screen LED Display: Equipped with a high-definition LED display, Kohree RV surge protector not only shows real-time voltage but also monitors current status. You can keep track of the power input situation at any time, ensuring that the voltage remains within the safe range of 104-132V for an unworried connection.
Auto Power Off Protection: When the voltage drops below 104V (low voltage) or exceeds 132V (high voltage), with the intelligent circuit analysis function the RV Surge protector automatically cuts off the power to prevent equipment damage. When the voltage returns to normal, it reconnects automatically without manual intervention.
Outdoor Power Guard: The plug of the RV voltage protector has an IP67 waterproof design for all weather resistance. With increased space, the waterproof cover accommodates most RV power plugs and protects circuits from rain, snow, wind, and dust. The rugged enclosure is engineered to minimize the risk of short circuits or fire.
Safe Operation: The 50A RV adapter plug utilizes a flame-retardant housing, premium pure copper, and high-strength PVC materials. It is capable of identifying faulty power sources, ensuring safety for RVs, campers, and travel trailers.
Ergonomic Design: The RV Surge Protector’s plugs are designed with ergonomic grip handles to safely and easily plug and unplug it, featuring a right-angle male connector to provide a reliable low-damage and low-bend interface with your power source.
Patented Design: Kohree is supported by a professional R&D team committed not only to superior performance but also to innovative design. The appearance and plug design of the power surge protector are protected by U.S. design patents (US D1,050,045 S and US D963,583 S).
