It requires a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network for initial setup. However, its advanced Wi-Fi + Bluetooth Direct Connect tech lets you smoothly control the fan and 40+ scene modes from your phone even if your Wi-Fi is unstable.

Can the fan and light be used independently?

Absolutely! The smart RGB lighting and the ceiling fan operate completely independently. Using the remote, app, or voice control, you can turn off the lights while keeping the fan running at your preferred speed to stay cool.
