Does the zwave plug require a hub?
Yes. The z-wave plug needs to be added to a z-wave hub or controller. It is sold separately.
How to put the device into network configuration mode?
Press the button of the z-wave plug 3 times. A flashing green light means the device has successfully entered pairing mode. If the device cannot enter the pairing mode after pressing it 3 times, reset the device or press the device 3 times faster.
How to troubleshoot when the zwave plug addition fails?
1. Check whether the z-wave hub is compatible with the device.
2. Reset the device and add it again. (Reset: Turn on the switch. Press the button twice quickly and hold the 3rd pressing until the indicator light dims.)
3. If step 2 doesn’t work, do the z-wave exclusion in the app and re-add it.
4. If step 2 and 3 don’t work, please check if the button can turn on or off the device.
Please note that pressing the button 3 times is needed to put the device into pairing mode.
