Yes. This z-wave plug requires a z-wave hub. The z-wave hub is not included in this product and needs to be purchased separately.

No.
How to reset the z wave smart plug?
Turn on the switch. Press the button twice quickly and hold the 3rd pressing until the indicator dims.
How can I troubleshoot the device by myself?
1. Check if the button can turn on or off the device.
2. If the button works, reset the device and add it again.
3. If step 2 doesn’t work, do the z-wave exclusion in the app and re-add it.
