Do I need a Smart Home hub to use the NFC “Tap to Unlock” feature?
Unlock your door by tapping your NFC smartphone against the Keypad – no hub required. Nuki App Mode is available for all compatible Smart Locks without the need for extra hardware.
How do I install the Nuki Keypad 2 NFC?
Nuki Keypad 2 NFC is mounted to the outside of your front door by sticking it to the door frame or screwing it on the wall. The required mounting accessories (adhesive strips, screws and dowels) are included in the package.
How is the Nuki Keypad 2 NFC powered?
The Keypad is powered by four included AAA batteries that provide an average battery life of at least 12 months. Change them by detaching the Keypad from the mounting plate, opening the battery compartment and inserting four new batteries.
Is the Nuki Keypad 2 NFC protected against theft?
If your Nuki Keypad 2 NFC is stolen, we offer theft replacement. Just send us a copy of your loss report (issued by the police) and proof of ownership (original invoice) of your Keypad and we’ll send you a free replacement.
