Please carefully read the following steps to ensure the correct and safe installation of your LED strip:

Preparing the Strip:

1. Unpack the Pandery Waterproof COB LED Strip Light,Cleaning the Mounting Surface:

Using a clean, lint-free cloth, thoroughly wipe the area where you plan to install the strip.

Key Requirements: The surface must be completely dry and free of water, oil, and dust. Cleanliness directly affects the adhesive strength of the backing.

3. Cutting the Strip to Length:Cut to your desired length.

Important: Only cut at the designated cutting points marked with a scissors icon on the strip! Cutting elsewhere will damage the strip.

4. Applying the Strip:

Remove the double-sided adhesive film from the back of the strip. Align and apply the strip to the desired location.

After applying, gently press along the strip with your finger or a clean cloth to ensure full contact and a secure adhesive.

Warning: Do not repeatedly remove or reapply! This will significantly reduce the adhesive’s adhesion and cause the strip to fall off later.

how to Connecting the Power Supply

1. Connecting the Power Supply:

Prepare a power adapter compatible with the strip (see “Notes” below for specifications).

Connect the power cord with the power supply disconnected:

Connect the red wire on the end of the strip’s cable to the positive (+ / V+ / L+) output of the power adapter.

Connect the black wire on the end of the strip’s cable to the negative (- / V- / COM / L-) output of the power adapter.

Make sure the connections are secure (you can use terminal blocks, solder, or the manufacturer’s connector) to avoid short circuits.

2. Power-On Test:

Carefully check that all connections are correct and secure. Turn on the power switch. The strip should illuminate normally.

Important Notes:

Voltage Requirements: This strip must be powered by a 24V DC power adapter. Using other voltages (such as 12V or 110/220V AC) is strictly prohibited; otherwise, the strip will burn out immediately.

Power Supply Selection:

The power adapter must have sufficient output current (A). Choosing a 2A or 3A power adapter depends on the total length and wattage of the light strip.

Power Calculation: Check the “Watts per meter” (W/m) information on the light strip packaging or label. Total wattage (W) = W/m * total length. Power adapter wattage (W) = 24V * current (A). The power adapter wattage/current should exceed the total power strip requirements (a 20% margin is recommended).

Waterproof: Choose a power adapter with an appropriate waterproof rating (e.g., IP65, IP67) based on your installation environment (e.g., outdoors, in humid areas like kitchens and bathrooms). The light strip itself is waterproof, but the power supply must also meet the environmental requirements.

Safety First:

All wiring operations must be performed after disconnecting the power supply. Before connecting the power supply, carefully check the positive and negative poles. Reverse connection may cause the light strip to not light up or damage it. Ensure that the connection points are well insulated to prevent short circuits.

Installation Details:

Avoid installing the light strip in confined spaces with poor heat dissipation. The bending radius of the light strip should not be too small to avoid damage to the LEDs or circuitry. If you need extension or split control, please use a dedicated waterproof connector or controller.
