Is this radio easy to use for seniors?
Yes. It has physical buttons, a clear LCD screen, and a simple band switch for FM, AM, and SW. Some settings such as alarm and station storage may take a little practice, so we recommend reading the manual before first use.
Can I use this radio without the DC adapter?
Yes. The radio can be powered by 2 AA batteries for portable use. The optional DC 3V input is for external power use, but the adapter is not included.
Is this a rechargeable radio?
No. PR-807 is powered by 2 AA batteries or an optional DC 3V external power input. It does not have a built-in rechargeable battery.
Does this radio come with a power adapter?
No. The DC 3V adapter is not included. Please use a compatible DC 3V power supply if you want to use external power.
Is this good for camping?
Yes, it is compact, lightweight, battery powered, and supports FM, AM, and SW bands. It is useful for casual camping and travel listening, but it is not a NOAA weather alert or emergency crank radio.
