Which smart home platforms does it support?

The M1 supports multi-platform control across major smart home ecosystems. It natively connects to Apple HomeKit via the Matter protocol and is also compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home.

Can I control the curtain to open halfway or to any specific position?

Absolutely. You can achieve precise control in two ways:

(1) Remote Control Shortcuts: Use one-touch buttons to open the curtain to 50% or 75%.

(2) Precise App or Voice Control: Use the Apple Home, Alexa, or Google Home app or voice command.

Does it support the “pull-to-start” or manual activation feature?

Yes. The M1 is equipped with a Touch-to-Go feature. Simply give the curtain fabric a gentle manual pull (move it ≥ 3 cm / 1.2 in), and the motor will detect the motion, take over automatically, and complete the opening or closing action.

Can it still be operated manually during a power outage?

Absolutely. During a power outage or when the motor is unplugged, you can open and close it manually just like a traditional curtain. The operation is smooth and will not cause any damage to the motor.

How much wider should the track be than the window?

For optimal light blocking and aesthetics, we recommend the total track length be at least 10 cm (4 inches) wider than the window on each side. This ensures the curtains fully cover the window and effectively prevent light leakage.
