Rm4 Mini IR Remote Control
Empower Your IR 38kHz Controlled Device.
RM4 Mini provides access to a wide range of preloaded remote templates by brand and model. Supports 50,000+ IR 38kHz-controlled devices, including TV, STB, Air Conditioner, Fan, Video Recorder, DVD, and more. If your brand is not listed, you can manually teach the RM4 mini using your original IR remote. It does not support Bluetooth and RF devices. The cloud is continuously updating the supported devices library, so your RM4 mini is always compatible with newer devices. Option to program your devices and learn buttons if certain cloud data is unavailable. IRR control requires line-of -sight. Please ensure there are no obstacles between the RM4 Mini and your devices.

How to set up an account and add devices?
Only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi router. Does not support 5GHz Wi-Fior mesh router.Works with IR 38KHz control devices. Does not work with RF or Bluetooth control devices.Please use a good 5V 1A adapterto power on the RM4 mini.The signal range is about 8m(line-of-sight only).Must have 1 for each room(IR signal can’t pass through the wall).
Download the latest “BroadLink” APP from the APP Store, Google Play and install it on your smartphone.Make sure you are using a 2.4G WI-FI.Make sure the LED indicator flashes quickly (2-3 times/sec.)Disable all Wi-Fi except for one 2.4 GHz network
Install the BroadLink App on your phone from Google Store or APP store.Open the Broadlink app. Click on Sign Up to create a new account. During the setup of a new account , please choose the right server according to the region.Open the BroadLink APP, tap “BroadLink Account” and log in to your cloud account if you already have.
Adding a device means the device will be connectedto your home’s router stably by using your phone.Please make sure that the device is powered on and is in the state of the network to be deployed.Wi-Fi router is in 2.4G band, and the signal is stable.The phone is connected to the router which the device needs to be connected,Devices, mobile phones, and routers are close to each other.
Select your home’s Wi-Fi SSID, only 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi is supported.Connecting to WIFIThen APP sending WIFI SSID and password to the device. The device will connecting to WIFIThen you can see that your device is connecting with WIFI
Click on “Add Devices”. Select a category (e.g. TV).Select a brand and search for the best IR code from those available.If the brand is not found, press “Cannot find my brand: Instant remote control” and then proceed to step Next
BroadLink RM4 Mini – Compatibility & Network
To ensure a successful installation and operation of your RM4 Mini, please carefully review the following technical requirements and step-by-step setup instructions.

IR: Supports 38 kHz devices only.Doesn’t work with RF- and Bluetooth-controlled devices.Requires 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (5 GHz not supported).During setup: delete saved Wi-Fi from your phone and disable “auto-connect to best network” to manually select 2.4 GHz.Contact your router manufacturer if you need help enabling 2.4 GHz.Power: Use a 5V / 1A adapter only. Other adapters may cause connection failures.
Step-by-Step App Setup
Follow these instructions in sequence to pair your RM4 Pro with the BroadLink app:
Download the BroadLink app and complete the user registration process.Tap the (+) icon to add a new device.If prompted, enable Bluetooth when the app requests permission. This is required for device discovery.From the device list, select Universal Remote → RM4 MiniPower on the RM4 Mini. Within 3 seconds, the LED indicator should begin flashing rapidly. If the LED does not flash, press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds.Navigate to your phone’s system settings and manually connect to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.Return to the BroadLink app. The device should now automatically connect.Once connected, proceed to configure your remote by selecting your device brand and following the on-screen prompts.
Supports over 50,000 IR 38kHz controlled devices, including TVs, set-top boxes, air conditioners, fans, VCRs, DVD players and much more. Bluetooth and RF devices are not supported. The cloud-based device library is continuously updated, so your RM4 mini remains compatible with new devices. If certain cloud data is not available, you can manually program your devices and program buttons. Note: The RM4 mini only supports a 5V 1A adapter.
The BroadLink app offers an improved user experience for configuration and scene creation compared to IHC. If you own an Android smartphone with built-in IR transmitter, you can test the control of your IR devices with the BroadLink app before purchasing our product. Note: The RM4 mini only supports 2.4GHz WiFi (not 5GHz) for configuration in the app. Please disable other Wi-Fi connections except 2.4 GHz during the set up APP and device.
RM4 Mini works with Alexa to control your TV, set-top box, air conditioning and fans by voice command. With Google Home, you can use voice control for your air conditioner. Make sure your devices can be controlled remotely from external networks. In the apps Amazon Alexa, Google Home or IFTTT, activate the BroadLink function or BroadLink service, link your account and search for devices.
Easily monitor the temperature and humidity in your room by connecting an external USB cable for temperature and humidity sensors to the RM4 mini. The BroadLink app shows you this information immediately. Enjoy effortless setup with FastCon technology: Simply add your first FastCon device to the app, and any new FastCon devices you turn on will be automatically detected and added without additional configuration.
The RM4 mini is easy to set up – just use a 5V 1A adapter and connect it to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (not compatible with 5GHz).
