Two 4.5 inch extra long throw woofers, four passive radiators and a 3/4 inch dome tweeter in a braced MDF cabinet 5.12 inches wide. It hangs flat on the wall on keyhole mounts, the mount and wire hidden behind it. Three heights match 65, 75 and 85 inch screens. Hang a pair for true left and right.

Why a 4.5inch wide speaker sounds like a floor tower Two long throw woofers

Long throw means the cone travels farther. Two 4.5 inch woofers per tower move the air that deep, clean bass needs, in a 5.12 inch wide cabinet.

Four passive radiators

They use the pressure inside the cabinet to add low bass output from a slim enclosure. Four per tower carry response down to 60 Hz.

3/4 inch dome tweeter

Dialogue and detail out to 25 kHz. Voice matched to every RtR Elite center and surround, so a full system sounds like one speaker.

Braced MDF cabinet

The same braced MDF construction as a full size floor tower. A cabinet that stays quiet under load keeps bass tight and midrange clean.

The cabinet does the tilting

Every tower is deeper at the top than at the bottom: 6.4 inches at the top of the OWT75, 3.89 at the base. Hang it flat on the wall and the front face angles a few degrees down, toward seated ears, not over your head. Nothing to adjust. The angle is built into the shape.

Quick check before you order

Measure from the floor to the bottom edge of your screen. 40 inches or more: the towers are already aimed at seated ear level. Under 40 inches: they still work, the built in angle just matters less. Either way the top of the tower lines up with the top of the screen.

Which size do I need?

Buy the tower named for your TV: OWT65 for a 65 inch screen, OWT75 for 75, OWT85 for 85. Each stands about as tall as the picture beside it. Between sizes, go by height: 32.5, 37.5 or 43 inches.

Do I need a subwoofer?

For movies, yes. On their own the towers reach down to 60 Hz, which covers music, dialogue and most effects. Add a subwoofer, set the crossover to 80 Hz or higher, and the sub takes the lowest notes.

Will they work with my receiver?

They are passive speakers rated 100 watts RMS and compatible with 8 ohm rated AV receivers. They are not self powered: the receiver drives them over speaker wire, so there is no Bluetooth, HDMI or power cord.

How do they mount, and where does the wire go?

Heavy duty 4 way keyhole mounts and a cardboard template are in the box. Mark the wall, drive the screws, hang the tower. The wire connects to binding posts on the back and hides behind the cabinet with the mount.

Do I need the matching center and surrounds?

Not on day one. A pair of towers on a receiver is a real stereo system. When you are ready, the OWCLR33A (above the TV) or OWCLR35B (below it) adds a voice matched center, and an S2040 or S3070 pair finishes a 5.0 layout.
