What if I forget the code – am I locked out forever?

No. As the admin, you can open the box anytime via Bluetooth in the TTLock app (within 4 meters) and instantly reset or change the code. There’s no risk of being permanently locked out or having to drill the lock.

Can I unlock the lock box remotely when I’m not on site?

You can share access remotely by creating time-limited PIN codes or eKeys inside the TTLock app and sending them to your guests or family. However, the box itself has no built-in WiFi, so you can’t tap “unlock” in the app when you’re not on site.

The key box panel doesn’t swing open all the way – is it broken?

No, this is by design. The panel does not open completely to prevent keys from falling out when the box is opened. Simply lift the panel after unlocking to access your keys safely.

What happens when the batteries run low?

The TTLock app can set low-battery alert and send them weeks in advance. If you still ignore it, just plug a USB-C power bank into the emergency port for instant power and open the box right away.
