1. Should I use Wi-Fi or Ethernet?
For the most stable connection, use Ethernet. Choose 5 GHz Wi-Fi for faster speeds at shorter range, or 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi for longer range.
2. Does the camera support PoE (Power over Ethernet)?
No. The camera does not support PoE. It uses the included DC 12V/1A adapter for power. The Ethernet port is for data only.
3. Can the Zigbee gateway integrate with Home Assistant?
No. The built-in Zigbee gateway does not support ZHA, Zigbee2MQTT, or MQTT. It is designed for SONOFF Zigbee devices and local camera automations.
4. What Zigbee sub-devices are supported?

5. How does this camera compare with a regular outdoor camera?
CAM-C44HE features dual 4MP lenses for two-area monitoring, a built-in Zigbee hub for direct SONOFF Zigbee connections and local automations that keep running without internet.
