The SONOFF S40 only works with 2.4GHz WiFi, not 5GHz WiFi at all. Make sure that your network has different sids for 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks and that the device will work properly.You need to download the eWelink APP and connect the SONOFF S40, then connect Alexa or Google Home via eWelink.
