GGS IR Air Conditioner Companion – Key Features and Use Cases
The GGS IR AC Companion is a control device compatible with multiple air conditioner brands, and it only works with Spider Farmer GGS Controller, GGS Pro Controller, GGS Power Strip AC5 / AC10, and GGS S-Station. With this device, users can remotely control the on/off status and temperature of the air conditioner, set it to automatically turn on or off at specific times, and have it run according to the set target temperature.
Device Connection
1. Use an RJ12 cable to connect the SF-IRAC device to the main controller (GGS Controller, GGS Power Strip, GGS Pro Controller, or GGS S-Station).
2. Ensure that the main controller is powered on, activated, and online.
3. Open the app and tap the SF-IRAC tab to enter the device setup interface.
Air Conditioner Control
After entering the device setup interface, tap the icon and follow the on-screen instructions to complete either hardware learning or brand-library learning. Once the learning process is completed, you can proceed to mode configuration.

Four Mode Settings
1.Manual
Direct, On-Demand Control: Manually toggle your AC on/off and set a fixed operating temperature. Ideal for growers who prefer hands-on, real-time adjustments over automation.
2.Time Period
Daily Schedule Automation: Set a specific start and end time with distinct operating temperatures for active and standby periods. Perfect for creating consistent day/night temperature cycles that mimic natural diurnal shifts.
3.Cycle Mode
Intermittent Cooling for VPD Stability: Run the AC for a set duration, then pause for a set duration, repeating up to 99 cycles per day. Prevents overcooling while maintaining optimal VPD through gentle, intermittent operation.
4.Environment Mode
Sensor-Driven Auto Regulation: The system automatically triggers cooling based on real-time temperature readings and day/night settings, adjusting between 16–30℃ to maintain your target range with smart dead-zone logic.
