After connecting SensorPro in your grow tent or indoor garden, which sensor does GGS use for temperature and humidity?
GGS still uses its built-in sensor for temperature and humidity. SensorPro only reads PPFD. For accurate data across your plant canopy, unplug the old probe and keep only SensorPro connected.
Why does SensorPro show 0 or “–” after connection?
“0” means the white ring is covered—remove the cap. “–” means the sensor isn’t connected properly. Use the RJ12 port at the bottom to connect to the controller.
Can I use both SensorPro and the original temp/humidity probe together in the same grow space?
Not recommended. Please unplug the original probe and only use SensorPro to avoid reading conflicts or incorrect data display, especially when monitoring micro-climates around your plants.
Does the placement of SensorPro affect its readings in my grow room?
Yes. For accurate PPFD and real-time climate readings at leaf level, hang SensorPro at canopy level, away from direct airflow of oscillating fans, heat from grow lights, or reflective walls. Ideal for vertical farms, grow shelves, or home grow tents.
