Can I turn on the camera with the lens cap closed？
No. The sliding lens cap must be open before powering on. The VCM autofocus motor needs room to move the lens group. A closed cap blocks movement and may create knocking sounds or misfocus. Slide to open. Then power on.
How to protect the rear lens element？
The rear lens is large and slightly curved. It can collect fingerprints or get scratched if handled carelessly. When placing the lens on a desk without the rear body cap simply close the front sliding lens cap first. This adds a layer of protection.
Why are the images I capture very ISO noisy?
Please try lowering the ISO value on your camera. High ISO levels can introduce significant noise to your images, especially in low-light conditions.
Does the lens support manual focus?
No, the lens only supports autofocus and does not have a manual focus option.
Can I purchase additional filters?
This lens does not support filter installation and does not come with a separate lens cap. It features an integrated sliding design to protect your lens.
