Does the Thunderbolt 4 dock need to install driver to use it?
No software or driver installation is necessary to use the thunderbolt 4 dock.
Can the device work with M1 / M2 / M3 / M4 / M5 Macs?
Yes, please note Macs with ‘base’ M1, M2, or M3 processors will support only one external display. However, Macs with M1 Pro/Max, M2 Pro/Max, M3 Pro/Max and all M4 and M5 processors will support two external monitors(HDMI+Thunderbolt 4).
Does the WAVLINK Thunderbolt 4 dock compatible with any monitors?
HDMI monitors are supported at up to a maximum of 4K 60Hz. For monitor with Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, up to a single 8K@60hz display can be connected via the back Thunderbolt 4 port.
What is the speed of equipped Ethernet port?
The thunderbolt 4 dock equipped a 2.5Gbps Ethernet port which is 2.5x faster than traditional Gigabit Ethernet, and is becoming the new standard for routers, switches, and NAS devices.
Can this dock charge host laptop?
Yes, this dock support up to 100W Power Delivery (96W Certified) to charge compatible hosts.
