Versatile High & Low Level Detection for Multiple Uses
High/Low Water Level Monitoring : Configure the alarm for high-level monitoring in basements, sump pits, or septic tanks to prevent overflow and flooding. Switch to low-level monitoring for water tanks, fish ponds, or industrial systems to avoid dry-running damage and ensure water supply.
How many minutes should I set my timeout time to?
We recommend testing it first: Use your water pump to draw down the water level from the alarm trigger line to your desired normal/everyday water level, and time how long that takes. That duration is the ideal timeout time for your setup.
Does using the mobile app alert feature of your product cost anything?
Using the app’s alert push feature is completely and permanently free. If you need SMS or phone call alerts, you can enable the corresponding paid service in the app.
What should I do if the device is not detected when pairing in the app?
Ensure your Wi-Fi is 2.4GHz and your phone’s system location is on (Settings → Privacy → Location→On). If the device isn’t detected, return to the app’ main, long-press the Alarm Unit Wi-Fi button until it beeps and flashes, then tap “Add Device”.
Why can I see high water level alerts in the app but don’t receive push notifications on my phone?
First, ensure Smart Life has push permission in your phone settings. Also, enable alerts in the app (Smart Life → Settings → App Notification → Device Alert → On → System Notification → On). Weak Wi-Fi may cause a few minutes delay.
Why does the app show the battery isn’t full even though the charging light on the Alarm Unit is green?
To save power, the device uploads battery status every four hours. To check real-time battery level, short-press the Alarm Unit’s Wi-Fi button, and the app will update immediately.
