Can this camera connect to a phone? Is there a subscription fee for the features?
No subscription fee — it’s ready to use right out of the box. It cannot connect to a phone; it does not have Wi‑Fi or cellular connectivity.
Can it be connected to an external solar panel?
Yes. There is a port on the bottom of the camera, and it supports a 12V power supply.
Why are some folders empty?
The creates all 14 folders after the first capture. Photos and videos are then sorted into the matching folders, so empty folders are normal.
What is the USB port on the side for? Can it power unit?
The USB port allows connecting to a PC or laptop for downloading photos. It will not power the unit.（ Please use data cable that can transmit data)
How big is the largest memory card the camera supports?
It supports up to 512GB.

After the first capture, the camera AI automatically creates a fixed set of 14 folders on the SD card, including Person, Deer, Raccoon, Squirrel, Bird, Cat, Dog, Bear, Wild Boar, Coyote, Fox, Hare, Skunk, andMystery_Neighbor.Each photo or video is sorted into the appropriate folder immediately after capture. If no matching animal is recorded, the corresponding folder may remain empty—this is normal behavior. Animals outside the predefined categories are stored in the “Mystery_Neighbor” folder for later review.
